CAC’s Super Bowl

Each year football fans and non-football fans alike look forward to a single day when the best of the National Football League come together to play a game. In addition to crowning a champion, the game celebrates the entire season of hard work, excitement and football. It’s an event that even the casual fan often watches and enjoys with friends.
Did you know that Carlisle Alliance Church has their own equivalent to the Super Bowl? One night a year the entire church family gathers for an evening of food, fellowship, celebration and focusing on God’s plan for the coming year. It’s called our Focus and Fellowship Meeting and this year it will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 5:30 pm.
In addition to being a meeting that members are expected to attend, the Focus and Fellowship meeting brings us together as a family to rejoice in God’s goodness and to make a series of important decisions that will shape our church for the coming year.
On January 14 you’ll have the chance to:
Hear reports of God’s blessings over the past year.
Celebrate significant ministry accomplishments among children, youth and adults.
Elect those who will lead our church in the coming year.
Approve the 2017 Operating Budget.
Have an opportunity to ask questions and interact with church leaders and pastoral staff.
Meet new friends!
Enjoy great food as we enjoy a covered dish dinner.
Receive the 2017 strategic report from our Governing Board.
Hear the announcement of the 2017 Pastor’s Award.
Win a prize!
This year’s Focus and Fellowship Meeting will be a most important evening and it is so imperative that each member of our church is present. That’s why we’ve arranged free childcare for our families with children and why we’ve scheduled a 5:30 pm start so the evening doesn’t get too long. We’ll even help with transportation if that’s a barrier to your attendance. Just contact the church office for assistance with this matter (249-5344).
We only ask that you sign-up at Sign-up Central so we can prepare adequately. This night promises to be one of the most meaningful evenings of the year and you do not want to miss it.
