Youth Group is our ministry for students from 6th-12th grade.

CAC Youth Mission Statement:

CAC Youth is a place where students will get to:

  • Know God through the narrative of Scripture,
  • Find Freedom from the bondage of sin,
  • Discover Purpose within the body of Christ, and
  • Make a Difference by sharing the love of God to the world around them.

Events

Sunday School

Our Sunday morning ministry involves social activities to break the ice and wake students up and teaching. We follow the Gospel Project‘s three year curriculum, walking through the entire narrative of Scripture, pointing it to Jesus and what the Gospel means in our lives.

Youth Group

Sunday evening youth group is focused on relationship, mentoring, and life skills leading to evangelism.

Our goal each year is to show the students the gospel, helping them transition students from, “This is what my parents believe,” to, “This is what I believe.”

Our goal is to walk students through:

  • What is sin and what is our relationship with it?
  • Who is Jesus?
  • What is our need for salvation, and how can we be saved?
  • What does it mean to be the Church, and how do we live a Christian life?

Retreats

Retreats are a long weekend where we have significant opportunities to develop relationship with students, learn more about who the students are and what they struggle with.

We annually join the Eastern PA District youth retreat at Lake Champion.

Every third year we join the Alliance Youth LIFE conference.

Students’ Events

We love to join students at their own events, whether they’re on the floor, behind an instrument, or in the crowd. Their lives are important to us.

Safety

We care about the safety and well-being of our youth. All CAC Ministries for minors follow our the CAC Safe Place policy.
