Did You Know

By Tim Keller, Lead Pastor

The only woman I know who stops by herself to help other people who are having car trouble is Tiffany Yingling. Fearless.

Ceal Stellpflug recently took on the kitchen adjacent to the Family Center. The kitchen lost. Organized.

There’s hardly a Wednesday night where Dawn Enck doesn’t send homemade baked goods with Pastor Doug for our young people. Delightful.

Speaking of Wednesday nights, without Bill and Melinda Hench’s willingness to serve faithfully as babysitters, Tanner and Lindsay de Bien probably couldn’t provide leadership to our 24/7 Youth Ministry. Invisible.

If it tastes good and is discovered on a table in the café on a Sunday morning, it probably came from Jeff Stout. Sweet.

Ever wonder who sets up all those chairs when we have a Care & Prayer service in the Family Center? That would be Keith Keiner. Grateful.

If you like a hot cup of coffee or tea to take into your Sunday School class you’d be wise to thank Barb Minnier for her early-morning effort each week to prepare coffee and tea. Appreciative.

Am I the only person who has benefitted from Pastor Doug and Steve Amos’s willingness to lend a hand with a non-functioning car? Generous.

Who goes out of their way to minister to other people’s children so that we can all assemble for Focus and Fellowship? Anna Jane Friess, Jean Smith, Janice Yingling, Jessie Hempel, Karen Jones, Barb Minnier.  Caring.

Have you noticed that there are always offering envelopes, sharp pencils, Connection and index cards in the pews each Sunday? That’s because of the work Beth Groninger does each week to make sure everything is there. Thankful.

I’m not sure that organizing yard sales was in Pastor Doug’s job description when he was hired, but he sure did a great job of leading a team in running a successful one. Profitable.
