God saves people from every walk of life, every socio-economic stratum, and every demographic. No one is too far from the Lord that he cannot reach him. But often, God works in the hearts of plain, ordinary people who do not have fame and fortune.

Saved from What?

We deserve justice which means we deserve God’s wrath. It is Christ’s punishment in our place that provides forgiveness of sin and moves us from being enemies of God to being his beloved children. We are saved from God by God for God. That is amazing grace indeed!

While We Were Still Sinners

I didn’t come to Christ because I was better than others. This has resulted in awe of God’s goodness and mercy. This is humbling to know that I am not better or more worthy than anyone else. I am also reminded that the same grace that saved me can save the most hardened sinner. No one is beyond God’s grace and no situation is too difficult for God.
